Pair of "Elephant" bookends
Shaded gray patina bronze showing the animal, one with head down and the other with trunk up, barking. Fine lost-wax casting by Maison SUSSE Frères. Molded wooden bases, one signed "Ary Bitter Sc" and marked "SUSSE FRERES Editeurs Paris" in a cartouche on the base.
