Silk SINKIANG rug (Central Asia), mid-20th century Dimensions: 275 x 190cm. Technical features: Silk velvet on silk backing. An oblong ivory field with braces supports a polychrome floral rosette and its pendants. Four ruby spandrels with multicolored arabesques arabesques encircle the whole. A Greek counter-border and a ribbon border ribbon frame the main ruby border with floral stems.
