Beautiful GABBEH carpet, (Iran), 3rd third of the 20th century. Dimensions : 247 x 205cm. Technical features: Wool velvet on wool foundation. An abraché blue field highlighted with large old gold and anthracite serrations, hosts a chestnut and old gold entomological medallion. Four small deer complete the set. Old pink main border with a series two-tone corollas in full bloom, flanked by an outer sky and gold serration. Beautiful poetic naiveté.
