JAPAN, late 19th century Important Imari porcelain planter. The body decorated with cherry blossoms and chrysanthemum underlined by a frieze in blue white decorated with stylized lotus and surmounted by a drapery pattern in relief with radiant floral decoration. The flared neck hemmed decorated on both sides with friezes of flowers. It stands on a quadripod base in openwork gilt bronze decorated with lions' heads and chimeras facing each other in leafy interlacing. Height: 54cm. Diameter: 44,5cm
