Silver sculpture representing the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception on the model of the Virgin of Alonso CANO. The Virgin, draped in a large mantle decorated with foliage on a background amati, hands joined in prayer, is dressed in a simple dress with round collar and straight pleats chiseled with a flowery motive. She rests on the crescent moon supported by three cherubic heads in a cloud. Triangular base probably reported, resting on three feet in the form of volutes, the three faces decorated with foliage on a bitter background. SPAIN, circa 1700. Weight : 2250 gr. Height : 60 cm.
