A straight chest of drawers, with a projection, made of vene - Lot 27
A straight chest of drawers, with a projection, made of veneer, the front and sides inlaid with flowering vases and, in the centre, a medallion decorated with musical instruments, in frames of triple chequered nets, the upper drawers with chevrons. It opens with five drawers on three rows, the two lower ones without crossbar. The uprights are rounded and the legs are tapered with simulated flutes. Ornamentation of gilded bronzes (reported). Veined beige marble top (fractured). Stamped by Jean Baptiste II TUART, received Master in 1760. 86 cm Width : 129 cm Depth : 61 cm. (Restorations, completely restored).
