Important Kachan (Iran) around 1980. 372 x 263 cm Velvet made of high quality silky lambswool on a cotton foundation. Density about 7000 knots/dm2. Ruby field with scrolls of palmettes of flowers and foliage in polychrome framing a central medallion in midnight blue ivory and sky blue in the form of an elongated diamond. Four spandrels recalling the central medallion. Seven borders, the main one in midnight blue with multicolored floral bulbs. Good condition.
