JAPAN, late Meiji period (1868-1912). A small black lacquered wood cabinet with red and gold decorations of birds on cherry trees in bloom. The cabinet has two doors with four drawers and three drawers in the front.19th century. 33 x 24 x 13cm. (Small enamel chips, one leaf broken, one foot missing). A lacquered metal planter is attached.
