Clock in the effigy of the Navy in chased gilt bronze representing a woman musician leaning on the dial of terminal form decorated with horns of plenty and topped by an antique urn on which is hung an anchor. The white enamelled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and railways. Two winders. Rectangular base decorated with a cherub and an anchor in a medallion surrounded by palmettes, leafy interlacing and a frieze of heart-shaped stripes. Empire period. Height: 44cm. Width: 32cm. (The enamel around the winders is missing, the instrument is missing)
