Georges GEFFROY (1903-1971) Rare round table with quadrangular base resting on four aluminum legs, the smoked glass top (later). Height: 56 cm, Diameter: 109 cm Born and died in Paris, this interior designer joined Paul Poiret at the age of 20. A key figure in the "Café Society" and friend of Robert Piguet, Christian Dior, Jean Cocteau and Max Jacob, Georges Geffroy became an icon of post-war French interior design. His last project was for billionaire Antheor PATINO.
