SPAIN, Late 17th century [CARTA EXECUTORIA HIDALGUIA] - Patent of nobility conferred by the last king of Spain of the Habsburg family, Charles II, known as the Bewitched, to the VERDE BARAONA family. In - 4 (284 x 185 mm.) Manuscript on vellum (142 leaves), decorated with two full-page illuminations with coat of arms and frontispiece). Including: 133 lettering, 25 headings including the profile of King Charles II, all finely illuminated. Spanish binding of the XIXth century, red morocco, gilt fillets framing the boards, spine ribbed and titled. Gilt edge. Each page bearing an ink stamp dated 1695 and initialed. (numerous wetnesses, folds and traces of wear) Copy signed by the different protagonists and completed.
